A Penny For Your Thoughts

Since Scrapbookers Bubble Bath opened, there have been many changes to the web site in order to make it as easy and enjoyable to use as possible. Our dream is to create a site that helps you leave a legacy through products, ideas and encouragement. We only know if we are on our way to achieving that if we hear from you. So, we are asking for you to send us your comments and thoughts.

I am including a few specific questions that we would love to hear some answers to in order for us to do the best we can to help you. Be honest, and, tell us lots!

~~ What do you think of the Scrapbookers Bubble Bath Product Web Site? (For example: Do you find it easy to use? What do you think of the appearance? Are the products helpful?)
~~ What do you think of Scrapbookers Bubble Bath Inspiration? (Is it easy to read through? What do you think of the appearance? Are the ideas helpful?)
~~ Did you purchase Unto All Generations? Why or why not?
~~ If you were us, what would you change and - or keep the same?

This site started as a tiny seed in a few conversations and has become a passion for us - We only know what we are doing good and, what we can do better, if we hear from you. So, click below on comments, and start typing! ~And, no, there is no actual penny for giving us your thoughts, but, we hope you find one today :)

Thank you so very much!!

3 Wishes

I told myself I wouldn’t watch it - it was just another one of those feel good shows that will make me cry like every Hallmark Card commercial ever taped…..but, I ended up watching it anyway…. It was Three Wishes with Amy Grant. Well, I was right, it was like a Hallmark Card commercial, and, I was right, I did cry - but, I did come up with an awesome page idea that I just had to share - so, thanks 3 wishes!

As we watched the show, my son said “I know what my 3 wishes would be”. As he listed his sweet thoughts for me to have a horse, lots of land, and him to be a professional baseball player, I thought - “Man, I have to capture these precious words” - so I did. And you can bet I will be asking each of my children and my husband what their 3 wishes would be. What wonderful words to go back and read years from now.

So, go ask your family members what they would wish for, write it down, and make a page. You can take a picture of each member, or, even pose them if possible: For example, I could include a pix of my son in a baseball uniform. And, if you want to do something completely awesome, make it an annual tradition. Pick a date (October 1st, September 11, Thanksgiving), and, record what your loved ones wishes are each year-it would be wonderful to see the wishes change~and maybe see some come true!

A Precious Hymn Treasure

As I have homeschooled my 4 children this week, I took a new approach to handwriting practice. One that came to mind as a simple idea, and, turned into a God thing as the week progressed on. Now, as Friday is here, I stand in awe of my God that He would take such a small school activity to so richly bless me. Then, it gave me an idea for my album…..so, I’m passing it on.

Teach your children one of your favorite hymns, worship chorus, or scripture verse. Go over the words - teach them the meaning - share with them the reasons the words touch you. Then, give them a simple piece of writing paper, give them the words, and let them copy a few key words or sentences. Take a pix of them holding the paper (with you, if you can), and save the paper. Can you imagine 5, 10, or even 20 years from now having that treasure? You can bet I have already filed mine away to save in my album!

I have included one of my favorite links on the web. It is a place to find not only the words to many hymns, but, also some background information about the writer. http://www.cyberhymnal.org/

What if you continued this each year on your birthday or Christmas - a gift to yourself from your children….They will know more about your heart; they will learn more of the Lord; and, you will have a treasure forever…..How awesome is that!

SBB Brainstorms Are Here

Scrapbookers Bubble Bath has a vision to help you leave an eternal impact. While part of that dream includes providing faithbooking products, it also includes giving you many ideas to transform your pages of pictures to albums of legacy. Along with the SBB Faithbooking Inspirations Blog, we also are creating SBB Brainstorms.

The SBB Brainstorms are free downloadable idea sheets to give you some guidance on what to do with those piles of pictures. The Brainstorms are organized by subject, such as Falling into Fall, Beach, and Air Show, and includes journaling prompts, page topper ideas, and a scripture. While we currently only have a few available, there are many being created.

You may want to print off each Brainstorm as it comes available and put them in a binder, or, you can just log onto Scrapbookers Bubble Bath, 24 hours a day, at those times you need some extra inspiration, to make your album pages full of your words and thoughts. The Brainstorms are available on ScrapbookersBubbleBath.com http://scrapbookersbubblebath.com/SBB_Brainstorms.htm

We would love to hear your comments on the Brainstorms, and, in fact, if you have a subject you would like to see a Brainstorm created for, just contact us and we will create one.
